Quite unexpectedly I spent Christmas alone. The best part of my day was a conversation with my brother, my nephew and my sister in law Verna. I loved having little Riley show me his box of cars, his little train set and blow me kisses. I'm so grateful for the simple pleasure of a conversation and for the technology that allows us to share across the miles.
